Today, we have a heavy downpour. And lightning. And thunder.
And lots of cars that won't start because the water level is too high. The drainage system here is archaic to say the least. In some places, it felt like I had to cross a river! That's how much water has accumulated. I was just grabbing the steering wheel of my car, hoping that it won't let me down. And it didn't.
But still, there's an air of excitement because this much rain is such a rarity here. I love it.
