Restless

I've been feeling restless/stressed out/distracted/tired/nervous all day. It's been one hell of a week work-wise, I left late almost every day of the week (including last night), and here's the icing on the cake: I have a full-day meeting tomorrow, and a presentation to work on afterwards! So, again, another working weekend. And another hellish week...which I'm dreading. I want it to be over...I just want to skip it, so it can be the next weekend already...

I really need a break. I am in dire need of some time off....and to think that I was supposed to be on holiday this very week (but I had to cancel the trip because of work constraints). This sucks!

Better head off to bed now, so I can wake up at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning!

I've been having lots of pressure lately at work, adding to that a severe merciless breakup with my bf.. after these last few weeks I'm having breathing problems and irregular heartbeats. I'll never accept so many tasks at the same time. Starting next Monday, the only thing I'll be thinking of is an "ultimate" vacation. One problem though:
It's gona be the final match of world cup!
More tension!

Sucks doesn't it?

We're up early tomorrow too - to catch up on emails before we head into a conference.

Sounds like somebody's taking advantage of your good nature...

Not sure someone's taking advantage...it's just the nature of the business. There are ups and downs and this a WAY WAY WAAAAY up period right now....

Ccee, I've always thought it incredible how the body reacts to stress. In my case, the symptoms are any of the following: shortness of breath, back and neck pain, and headaches....And every single time, I'm convinced that I am dying :)

Shortness of breath, neck and shoulders pain( stress heavily sits on my shouders) and of course my headaches. I would have been dead for a decade now if Advil didn't exist.

Ya3teeke el 3afye. I hope next week will be better and you'll get the chance to vacation away soon.

DS, do you ever wonder if you're in the right business?

Mar, I strongly believe I am in the right business (or at least I hope so!). I really couldn't see myself doing anything else.... I have fun (most of the time). And ups and downs are expected, it's the nature of thing.

Will I be able to keep this up when one day I hopefully have a family of my own? Probably not. But for now, it's all good.
