I am sick and tired of traffic!

Seriously!

I don't know if it's because it's Ramadan, or because schools started again, or because of construction, or because of Salik, or a combination of all of the above, but traffic in the mornings has been horrendous.

Every single morning, I hear the following traffic report on the radio: Getting out of the Greens, the Springs, the Meadows and Arabian Ranches is a nightmare. And it is! (well, I know in the Greens it is...)

It's simply not normal that it can take up to an hour to get out of the Greens...Just to get on the main road! But no one seems to give a crap...except for the people who live in these places of course. By no one, I mean the RTA and the government. As long as they get to make their money off of Salik, and continue their round-the-clock building of new interchanges, they're happy.

On avarage, we pay 2 to 3 time more than what sharjah residents do for rent, yet we arrive around the same time to work...

3aadi.. it is bad for us all.
i just got back for a few days of ramadan with la famiglia and today i decided to venture out of my cabin.. took me 1 hour for example to get from frigging wafi to frigging rashid hospital. walking would take 10 min.. by god.. what's going on? these guys closed most of the roads on that route and yeah,, 1 hr.. for nothing... the city that stares.

Well, some people say I'm dense. It took me awhile to find out where you landed, but I am very glad to see you back. Ramadan Kareem & be careful - the traffic in Dubai was awful before we left (2002), so I feel for you.

Guess what is the main reason I left Dubai? ........... and the parking is another reason. I used to get in bad mood going to work, leaving the house........etc.

What the hell, I have been in Oman for over 11 months, in Dubai I faced the daily traffic problems 3-4 times a day, and I got stuck here twice only, but when I remember dubai, I smile a listen to music.

Why waste your life, leave Dubai
