What on earth is Ruwaad? For the past couple of months, I've been seeing billboards and taxis with nothing but a logo (red and black) and the name Ruwaad.
I've searched the net, and couldn't find anything. Is it a company? A product?
My thoughts are it's another real estate company... But enough with the teasing already! A teaser that's there for 2 months is no longer a teaser! It's old news by now and by the time they reveal what it is, no one will be interested anymore.
Update: As an anonymous blogger pointed out, they have now added a line below the logo: "Iconic property developments". Huh? What does that mean? And honestly, couldn't they have come up with something better than adding a line below the logo? Maybe I had my hopes up too high...what could I expect from a company that had their logo plastered everywhere for a 2-month teaser campaign?

I also did internet searches about 6 weeks ago when I first saw the signboards and taxi ads, and can find nothing.

even i use to go crazy abt dat ad but they just added a new line below the word "RUWAAD" - "iconic property developments"

Maybe they're surreptitiously rebranding Emaar!
Ruwaad going to become a wellknown property developer like Emaar or even bigger.
Ruwaad basically belongs to Merchant family of pakistan, one of the wealthiest family in pakistan.
For God's sake. Doesn't anybody understand Arabic anymore. Ruwaad simply means Leaders! Just another pretentious real estate developer who claims leadership over whom exacty...Emaar?, Sama?...Good luck!!!
Do you guys know what Chameleon is in U.A.E? I've seen their logos all over the place but am a little confused as to what they do exactly. I think they're into events....correct me if i'm wrong

I AM SIMPLY FRUSTRATED!! i finally get the time to go online and try to find what this RUWAAD thing is!.. and the first thing i come across is this website full of other people wondering the same!
if any of you have been following the Cricket World Cup right now.. there are ads being aired that say "Ruwaad.. Coming Soon"......
...its ONE BIG SECRET.. isnt it?
I can't believe they still haven't revealed what Ruwaad is...after all these months...for God's sake! What are they waiting for?
Ruwaad is a real estate property development company, they did initiate a teaser campaign that lasted for much greater a time than what one would normally use but this sort of worked for Ruwaad as it lead to increasingly great brand exposure and caused people to familiarize themselves with the brand.
Ruwaad is currently collaborating with Paramount pictures to develop an iconic theme park in UAE.
It has also initiated a massive project in south africa called the 'Amazulu' world project.
